Account and data deletion information
You can delete your Sumzi account directly inside the Sumzi app.
How to Delete Your Account in the App
Open Sumzi, go to Settings, then use the Delete Account option. Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, personal information linked to your account will be deleted or anonymised unless we are required to keep certain information for legal, security or operational reasons.
This may include deleting or anonymising:
- Email address
- Account details
- Username
- Profile information
- Gameplay history
- Daily puzzle results
- Practice puzzle data
- Streaks
- Leaderboard entries
- Profile statistics
- Achievements
- Profile titles
- Friend requests and friend list information
If You No Longer Have Access to the App
If you cannot access Sumzi, you can request help with account deletion by emailing:

How Long Deletion Takes
Deletion requests are usually processed within 30 days.
Data We May Retain
Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention or operational reasons.
Where possible, retained information will be minimised and will not be used to identify you publicly within the app.
