Sumzi does not currently send marketing emails.

If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide appropriate controls where required.

6. Notifications

Notifications are only sent where permitted by your device settings and, where available, your in-app notification preferences.

You can control or disable notifications through your device settings. If Sumzi provides in-app notification toggles, you may also be able to adjust which types of notifications you receive from within the app.

7. Advertising, Analytics and Tracking

Sumzi shows ads in the app.

Ads may be shown in parts of the app, such as after completing a puzzle, within practice mode, before entering a random VS queue, or in other appropriate areas of the app.

For random VS mode, an ad may be shown before you are added to the random matchmaking queue. After the ad has finished, you may be added to the queue and VS mode should continue as normal.

Ads are not intended to be shown when challenging a friend in VS mode.

This may include information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, general location information, app interaction information, ad views, ad clicks, approximate usage data, crash logs, performance data and diagnostic information.

Where required, Sumzi will ask for permission or provide relevant controls before using advertising features that involve tracking or personalised ads.

You may be able to limit ad tracking or personalised advertising through your device settings or app permissions, depending on your device and operating system.

Sumzi does not sell your personal information.

If in-app purchases, subscriptions or paid features are added, they will be processed through the relevant app store provider, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. Sumzi will not directly collect or store your full payment card details.

If paid features are introduced, this Privacy Policy and the relevant App Store and Google Play information will be updated where required.

Advertising partners may retain advertising-related information according to their own privacy policies and retention practices.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymise it where reasonably possible.

12. Account Deletion

You may also contact us at hello@sumzi.app to request help with account deletion.

When your account is deleted, personal information linked to your account, including your email address, account details, gameplay history, stats, streaks, friends, achievements and VS mode information, will be deleted or anonymised unless we are required or permitted to keep certain information for legal, security, anti-cheat, dispute resolution or operational reasons.

Some information that was previously visible to other users, such as completed challenge results or leaderboard history, may remain in anonymised or limited form where needed to preserve the integrity of the game.

Account deletion from Sumzi may not automatically delete information held separately by third-party advertising providers, app stores or other third-party services where they act independently. You may need to use those providers’ own privacy tools or device settings to manage that information.
